Nanny-Personal Assistant
Role: Afterschool Nanny/PA
Location: Holland Park
Days/Hours: 12midday - 9pm /Monday Friday (full-time hours over the school holidays)
Care for: G9 & G10
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 gross per annum (depending on skills, experience and previous earnings)
Start Date: ASAP
We are looking for an experienced and organized Nanny/Personal Assistant to support the education and well-being of G9 & G10. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare, education, and organisational tasks, with excellent communication and administrative skills. Discretion, flexibility, and professionalism are key.
Nanny Duties
• Manage school pick-ups and after-school routines.
• Plan creative and educational activities to inspire curiosity and exploration.
• Encourage physical activity, outdoor play, and sports.
• Support children’s musical interests and development.
• Provide homework assistance and educational support.
• Engage children in multicultural discussions and activities.
• Maintain a clean, organised environment and promote good habits.
• Travel with the family during school holidays, providing childcare and activities.
• Liaise with parents to ensure aligned goals and schedules.
Administrative Duties
• Coordinate playdates, birthday parties, and parent group communications.
• Attend parent-teacher meetings with principal
• Update principal regularly on childrens and task progress.
• Coordinate with family EA to manage the children’s calendar for school events, exams, and activities.
• Organise weekly schedules, including appointments and extracurriculars.
• Handle school supplies, uniforms, and other essentials.
• Assist with household administration related to the children.
• Plan birthday parties and assist with ad hoc tasks as needed.
Key Qualities & Skills
• Enthusiastic, creative, and engaging personality.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Knowledgeable about the world and able to spark educational discussions.
• Interest in sports, outdoor activities, and music (musical ability is a plus).
• Multilingual skills (French preferred) are highly advantageous.
• Patient, empathetic, and able to build strong relationships with children.
• Flexible and willing to travel or work additional hours during holidays.
Qualifications
• DBS-registered with proven childcare experience (preferably in a professional/UHNW setting).
• Background in teaching, education, or child development is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Beneficial if resides near South Kensington for flexible hours (1pm - 9pm Term Time and Full days In half terms)
