Job Specification:
An experienced nanny is sought for a 12-month-old baby based in Riyadh, KSA. The role will focus exclusively on caring for the 12-month-old, with a maternity nurse employed for the newborn, due in April 2025.

The family also owns a second property in London, where they holiday, so travel may be required from time to time. Daily responsibilities will include managing the child’s routines, promoting development, ensuring healthy sleep hygiene, and providing a stimulating environment. The position involves a mixture of sole and shared care, as the mother is hands-off but will be involved at times. Working hours are 12 hours per day, 6 days per week. This is a live-in role with an ASAP start, offering a competitive salary, room, and board.

Main duties and requirements:

- Provide comprehensive care for the 12-month-old, including preparing breakfast and managing a structured daily routine.
- Organise age and stage-appropriate activities to promote holistic development.
- Support healthy sleep hygiene and ensure emotional well-being.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the child’s living and play areas.
- Collaborate with the family and domestic staff to meet the baby’s needs.
- Travel to the family’s second property in London for holidays, as needed.

Essential requirements:

- At least 5 years of experience as a nanny in a private household.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development and creating safe, stimulating environments.
- Qualification in child development, Level 3 DCE or NVQ preferred.
- Recent experience caring for babies is essential.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with the family and other staff.
- First aid certification preferred.
- Kind, nurturing, and patient disposition with a strong focus on child development.
