ZI305 - Full-Time Rotational Governess - Cyprus/Argentina

Overview
An international family seeks a live-out, highly educated and experienced native English speaking Governess, who can teach and interact with three children, G6-yrs, B4-yrs, and a baby due in March. The children speak Russian, English and Spanish. The role is rotational with a varying schedule, depending on the location of the family and their requirements. Expect to work 14-17 days per month, or around 180hrs per month.

The family is based in Limassol, Cyprus and is planning to spend 4-5 months in Argentina from February 2025.

Responsibilities
The governess will be responsible for:

Teaching English (the children are already near fluent) and maths through age-appropriate games and activities
Developing the children's social skills including their understanding of different cultures, etiquette, morals, discipline, and values
Supporting the nannies with their regular duties and helping them arrange and supervise stimulating and child-centred days
Accompanying the family on trips and helping them arrange fun and memorable activities
Generally being invested in the children's health, well-being and progress
Requirements
The ideal candidate should:

Be responsible, and possess strong moral principles
Have a genuine love for working with children and a passion for teaching
Be open to travelling with the family
Be fit and active, able to keep up with active children and cope with a demanding schedule (particularly when travelling)
Have some experience of newborns
Have a primary teaching background and some experience with home-schooling, although the children are not currently following any particular curriculum
Be a team-player, happy to work alongside the children's nannies and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for the children
Be happy with some sole charge and other shared care situations
Be warm, fun, active, and full of ideas and inspiration
Be flexible, able to accommodate changing schedules and requirements
