*Live-in Nanny/Housekeeper – Battersea*
We are a warm and welcoming family based in Battersea, looking for an experienced live-in nanny/housekeeper to join our household. This is a full-time role (5.5 days per week) with two nights of babysitting included.

*Role Overview*
The ideal candidate will be flexible, caring, and calm, with a genuine love for children and a high standard of housekeeping. The role will also require proxy parenting when the parents are traveling and the ability to travel with the family for up to 3-4 weeks per year during school holidays. Travel is mostly to Europe and the US.

*Working Hours & Benefits*
Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, with a long break during the day while the children are at school.
Babysitting: 2 evenings per week.
Paid Holidays: Included as part of the contract.

*Responsibilities*
Housekeeping Duties (to a high standard):
Daily cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas
Vacuuming, dusting, and emptying bins
Laundry and ironing
Wardrobe management and organisation
Preparing simple meals for the family
Unpacking and organising groceries

Childcare Duties:
School drop-off and pick-up for our children (7-year-old boy & 4-year-old girl)
Playing and engaging in activities at home with them
Preparing simple meals and snacks for the children
Tidying up after children’s activities and meals
Bathing the children and assisting with their evening routine
Proxy parenting when the parents are traveling
Traveling with the family for up to 3-4 weeks per year (mostly to Switzerland, France, and the US)

What We Offer
Salary: £700 per week net
Accommodation: You will have a lovely, modern private room with an en suite bathroom in our recently renovated townhouse, located on a beautiful and safe street in Battersea, just 100 meters from Battersea Park.

*The Ideal Candidate*
Speaks fluent English or French
Has strong references (essential) from previous employers
Has experience with young children and enjoys spending time with them
Is a non-smoker
Can work flexibly and independently
Is able and willing to travel internationally with the family (for up to 3-4 weeks per year)
Is comfortable with proxy parenting when the parents are traveling
