First time parents are looking for a loving and experienced holistic experienced daytime maternity nurse or nanny with newborn experience to help them care for their baby boy who was born by c-section in early December. They also have a cat, so you need to be comfortable to work in a home with a cat.

They would like someone to support them ideally 3 days per week from 10:30 am to 6 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for 1-2 months starting on the 18th February. They are also open to having 4 days and including Mondays for the right person.

They would like the maternity nanny to start helping them to get their baby into a good daily structure in time using a gentle and kind approach and to allow the mum to rest and have time for ding some errands. They want a nanny who likes to focus on the baby reaching his milestones and support his early development.

They are looking for a loving maternity nanny who can support them with all aspects for the baby and guide them in this new journey. They are happy for the candidate to take the lead by advising and supporting them to make decisions together, helping them supporting the baby to sleep in his own crib rather than contact napping during the day. He sleeps well in his crib at night but will not still not settle during the day unless he is being held. He also has colic and some reflux so they need someone who has lots of experience with this and can help with the baby not being in too much pain.

The ideal person will be calm, experienced, confident, supportive, patient, and helpful. They also want someone who is passionate about babies and has experience with supporting first time parents and is happy to work with the family for a 1-2 month period. This will be a mix of sole and shared care and will suit someone who is comfortable to take the lead but also work in a supportive role with hands on parents.

Location: Barnes, SW13 (parking is available if you are a driver)

Salary: £22-25 gross per hour based on experience

Requirements: At least 8 years working as a maternity nanny or nanny with newborns with excellent checkable references. Fluent English and able to commute to Barnes easily each day.
