An outgoing and fun Nanny is required for 6 months to cover maternity leave for a family of five in South Somerset.

This is an after school position for a friendly and busy family. They have three children, girl aged 10, boy aged 7 and boy aged 3. The 7 year old has verbal dyspraxia, he finds speaking very difficult so uses sign language and GRID for iPad to communicate so someone with some SEN experience or some knowledge of this would be beneficial. All three children love to spend time outdoors, walking, cycling and physical activities. They also enjoy board games and books. Your duties will be purely child care related and you will have time to carry out laundry, walk the dogs and meal prep etc before the school runs. They would love to find someone who has knowledge of a Montessori approach as this works well for the children, especially the middle child.

The family live on an arable farm and they also have a goat, sheep, chickens 3 dogs and 2 cats so someone used to animals around is ideal. As well as the farmland there is an acre of garden to explore. There could be extra hours in the school holidays but still working Monday-Friday.
