Live Out Nanny job in rural Devon

A nanny is needed to work 4 days per week to look after 3 children in a beautiful location on Dartmoor. The working days are Monday to Wednesday, 7am to 7pm and Thursday 8am to 4 / 6pm. The job can be taken live-in or live-out.

The duties include taking children to activities and potentially nursery, playing with the children and having fun, preparing their meals for the day and all usual nursery duties. The oldest son will start school in September, however, will be collected by taxi to go there as it is not nearby.

If taking the live-in option, you will have your own separate accommodation in an annex adjoined to the family home. It has two bedrooms, so someone else can stay with you, own front door, kitchen, living area and bathroom. There is also a large driveway.

A driver with their own car is essential for the role. Paediatric first aid is not essential as parents are doctors and will train the nanny. The family would like a nanny who also loves the countryside and can appreciate working in a remote role (the nearest village is 10 minutes away)

The family do have a cat, but it lives mostly outdoors. Mum returns to work late May and would like to have 1 - 2 weeks hand over with the nanny so a start date around 12th May.

The salary for live out is £620 - £700 gross pw depending on experience
