We are looking for a caring and kind educationally focussed French speaking nanny. Someone with nannying and educating/ tutoring experience. Fun, warm, responsible and able to set boundaries.

Duties:

- teaching / speaking French

- educating children

- homework (primarily for 5 yr old, as 9yr old has a tutor after school sometimes)

- focus on manners

- make dinners for children

- general household duties related only to children



There is plenty of time during the day to prepare the children's meals and snacks, to make sure their school uniforms are ready and to prepare activities which the girls will find fun and interesting after school.



Must speak also good English to be able to support 5yr old with her homework.



3 or 4 days a week 7am-7pm with a 2 hour rest break during the day.

Shorter days in school holidays (8-6pm ish)

Generous holiday allowance.

Sole Charge, but at least 1 parent mostly works from home.

This family has no pets

This family does Not require a driver



Requirements

Live within reasonable commute of Herne Hill (the family is close to Herne Hill station)

2+ years childcare experience

Educated, preferably to degree level

Experience working with school aged children

Experience of tutoring or supporting children with their education

Up to date Enhanced DBS

Recent Paediatric First Aid certificate

Right to work in UK (& already living in the UK) and have proof

Good references for recent and relevant nanny work

Proof of previous long term positions (ideally 2+years in each job)

Be available long term
