A warm and welcoming family is looking for a dedicated and experienced nanny to care for their 2 school aged children and support their daily routine.

The position is full-time, offering 37-39 hours per week. During term time, the hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 8:30 am and 1:00 pm to 6:30 pm, with two babysitting nights per week. School holiday hours will vary and be agreed upon in advance. Flexibility is essential, particularly for school events or when a child is unwell. The salary ranges from £16-£19 per hour, depending on experience, and includes 20 paid holiday days plus bank holidays. Holiday dates will need to align with the family's schedule, though there is some flexibility during the summer.

The family is looking for someone who will ensure the children’s safety, well-being, and development while creating a nurturing and structured environment. The nanny will be responsible for school drop-offs and pick-ups, planning engaging activities, supporting the children with homework, preparing healthy meals, and ensuring they are always well-prepared for school. Encouraging good manners, fostering independence, and making each day fun and stimulating is at the heart of this role.

Alongside childcare responsibilities, the role includes light housekeeping duties related to the children, such as laundry, tidying play areas, and ensuring toys and belongings are organised. The nanny will also prepare meals for the family, run occasional errands, and help keep common areas clean and tidy.

Driving is not essential, but preferred. A family car is available for school runs and errands.
