Job Spec – Nanny / Lite Housekeeper

1pm-8pm Monday - Thursday (Term Time)
1 pm-11pm Friday (Term Time)

8am-8pm Monday - Thursday (School Holidays)
8am- 11pm Friday (School Holidays)

Salary: £20 Gross Per Hour

Location – North/West London

Overview: We are seeking a reliable Nanny to join our household. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing childcare support for three children and maintaining a clean, organised environment within our home. This role requires a compassionate individual who is capable of multitasking and managing household duties efficiently. The family have 3 daughters 9,6 and 4. Mum is pregnant and due in April but the baby will have a maternity nurse and then another caregiver.

Key Responsibilities:

Childcare:

· Provide attentive and nurturing care for children in the household.

· Preparing children’s meals

· Teaching children good behaviour, such as respect.

· Transporting children to and from schools and extracurricular activities

· Tidying up play areas and rooms after children and ensuring their safety indoors and outdoors

· Administering the right medicine and taking care of children in case of injuries and illness

· Assisting the children with homework and working with parents to ensure their growth and social development.

· Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to thrive.

Meal Preparation:

· Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the family, taking into account any dietary restrictions or preferences.

· Plan menus and grocery shopping as necessary, ensuring that ingredients are fresh and of high quality.

Housekeeping:

· Perform general housekeeping duties, including cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and tidying up of the children’s areas

· Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of children’s living spaces

· Laundry duties, including washing, folding, and ironing clothes as required.

· Ensure that all household supplies are stocked and replenished in a timely manner.

Errands and Organisation:

· Run household errands, such as grocery shopping, picking up dry cleaning, and dropping off/picking up children from school or activities.

· Assist with organising and maintaining household schedules.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Previous experience working as a Nanny is essential.

· A genuine love for children and a nurturing disposition.

· Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

· Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities.

· Basic cooking skills and familiarity with preparing healthy meals.



· DBS Checked

· Trained in life support.

· CPR and First Aid Certification

· Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (if required).

· Must be eligible to work in the UK.
