A family of 2 children (G4, B8) based in Cobham is looking for a nanny as maternity cover for their existing nanny for the next 6 months. The family is looking for someone education-focused who can assist the children's development through these formative years in primary school. The eldest of the two will be taking exams in 6 months time so they feel this is the perfect time to make this transition.

Duties will include:

Childcare duties
- Provide transportation for the children to and from school, after-school activities and outings when agreed upon with family.
- Assist with homework and exam prep.
- Plan and prepare meals for children nutritious meals/snacks adhering to the family’s feeding preferences.
- Plan and actively participate in age-appropriate development activities or children- plan activities that promote physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development.
- Staying on top of the children's areas in the house, for example, bedrooms and playroom.
- Maintenance, cleaning & care of children’s belongings i.e. Water bottles, lunch boxes, book bags etc.
- Provide reasonable flexibility in times of emergency or unexpected schedule changes.

If possible, the family would love to find someone who speaks an additional language on top of English, for example, French, Spanish or German. Or if someone could play a musical instrument that would also be great. The family are already very sporty so they have this part covered.

This is a wraparound role during term-time so someone local would be preferrable for the family.

The 8 year old is very sporty and loves cricket, football, tennis and golf. He also loves watching TV. The 4 year old is also very active and loves gymnastics and football. She also loves hair and nails, books and lego.

You will not be expected to travel but on the odd occasion there might be the opportunity.
