Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced, proactive, and detail-oriented Housekeeper Cook to join our clients family to work in their 3 bedroom home. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys maintaining a tidy, organized home, cooking healthy meals, and occasionally assisting with childcare in a family environment. The family are looking for someone who can be part of the family and is happy to look after children especially when nanny is not working.
The home is located within walking distance of Highbury & Islington Station and Angel Station. Parking is available at the home.

Salary:
Live out - £54,600 to £59,800 gross per annum
Live in - £45,000 to £50,000 gross per annum
Job specification:
• Cleaning & Tidying: Maintain a clean and organised home, including dusting, hoovering, changing bedding, and laundry/ironing.
• Cooking: Prepare simple, healthy meals (3 meals per day) for the family and when the family have guests.
• Household Management: Order groceries, run errands, and ensure the smooth operation of the home.
• Childcare: Only when needed if the nanny is on leave or not working
o Provide support with the children (who have their own nanny) during the nanny’s holidays.
o Home activities and arts and craft in the school holidays
o Help with homework
o Making meals for children
o Overnight babysitting duties
o Ensuring children’s safety
o School pick up and drop offs when required
o Comfortable sole charge when nanny isn’t working
Candidate specification:
• Experience in housekeeping and cooking, particularly within a family environment.
• A strong eye for detail and pride in delivering high-quality work.
• Confident, proactive, and able to take initiative in managing household tasks.
• Discreet, trustworthy, and enjoys working in a family-oriented environment.
• Experience in assisting with children when needed.
Accommodation: Studio apartment located 10 mins from the family home
Enhanced DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
