Super lovely family near Richmond, London is looking for a warm, kind german speaking nanny for their 2 children. Their current nanny has been working for them for 6 years, but now is having to leave sadly.
Really lovely parents, both work in busy professional jobs.
Children's school is a few minutes walk away. Both children are kind and well behaved. This is a sporty, active family and the children do a lot of after school activities.

Mum says "5 days a week Hours: The kids' school ends between 1pm and 3:55pm depending on the day. We would like someone that could work from 12/1pm to 7/7:30pm - and also potentially longer days during school holidays, etc. We're a little flexible on hours if they want slightly more or less hours. Duties: School Pick-up (5 minute walk from house, pick up times vary by day) Take kids to / from activities: The kids have a lot of after school activities (tennis, basketball, piano, etc.) that the nanny would need to get them ready for and take them to. The activities are all local and don't require a car, although some may require a short bus ride). Help kids get their homework done: Ideally the nanny could also help the kids do their homework, practice reading / math, etc.

Cooking: Plan & prepare afternoon snacks and dinner for kids
Tidying up: (see above) - we have a cleaner once a week, but would like the nanny to help keep the house clean on a daily basis (fold laundry, dishes, wipe down kitchen messes, tidy up after kids / encourage the kids to help tidy up their messes!); Some days the kids don't get out of school until 3:30 or so, so it makes sense they would use the extra time on those days to organise the kids playroom, do their laundry, prep meals for the kids, etc.
Playing with the kids: The kids love reading, playing card / boardgames, playing in the garden, etc. with their current nanny; Our nanny also helps organise activities for them during school holidays, etc. (e.g. going to a soft play, museum, bike ride, etc.)
No Phone Usage - We expect our nanny to not take phone calls, scroll on the internet / social media, etc. while working - unless of course for reasons related to the job


Requirements
Lives within commutable distance of Petersham (beautiful area, by Richmond, Richmond park and the river Thames)
Previous sole care experience of school aged children
Outdoorsy, active nanny, with lots of initiative and energy. Trustworthy and reliable.
Up to date Enhanced DBS
Recent Paediatric First Aid certificate
Right to work in UK
Good references for recent and relevant nanny or childcare work
Able to easily run after children
Fluent German and English
