Rota Nanny – Private Family

A private family in Chelsea is seeking an experienced and professional live-in rota nanny to provide high-quality care for their two children—a girl (born May 2023) and a baby boy (3 months old). This is a shared-care role, working alongside hands-on parents, and requires a candidate with experience in similar settings.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide attentive and nurturing care, ensuring the children’s safety and well-being
Establish and maintain structured routines, particularly regarding sleep and development
Organise and accompany the children to age-appropriate activities, classes, and outings
Plan and implement a stimulating programme of educational and developmental activities
Coordinate effectively with both parents and the other rota nanny to ensure continuity of care
Undertake all nursery duties, including preparing fresh, nutritious meals for the eldest child and, when weaned, the baby
Accompany the family on occasional travel, including to the USA and Europe

Candidate Requirements:
Extensive experience in similar shared-care and rota nanny roles
Strong knowledge of early childhood development, routines, and milestones
Highly organised, proactive, and reliable, with excellent communication skills
Long-term commitment, demonstrating stability and longevity in previous roles
Team-oriented, working seamlessly with parents and household staff

Working Schedule & Accommodation:
Rota schedule: 24/7, one week on / one week off
Accommodation: A shared room and private bathroom with the children during working weeks
The family employs a full household staff, including a chef, housekeeper, and drivers. A driving license is advantageous but not essential. There are no pets in the home.
