A wonderful role for a local Housekeeper Nanny

Family Description and Location:
A friendly and active family relocating from Spain are seeking a reliable and experienced housekeeper who is also happy to assist with childcare. The family includes two school-aged children (5 and 7 years old) and a small, non-shedding dog. They will be settling into their new home in Cobham, Surrey and are looking for someone to help them from Novemeber.
The home is a spacious 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom residence with a swimming pool, reception areas, an office, and laundry room. There is a team in place to care for the outdoor areas and pool.

Job Description:

This is a varied and rewarding position combining housekeeping and light childcare duties. The ideal candidate will be proactive, energetic, and child-friendly with experience running a household to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:

Daily and deep cleaning of all rooms and bathrooms
Kitchen cleaning and organisation
Laundry care including linens, hand washing, and swim towels
Ironing and wardrobe management
Changing beds and keeping household linen in order
Meal preparation: healthy, nutritious family cooking a few times per week
Assisting with children during afternoons and holidays
Light pet care and occasional dog walking.

Candidate Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role in a private household
Confident with both housekeeping and childcare
Happy to work alongside the mother and offer flexible support
Spanish speaker preferred but not essential
Swimmer preferred
Must have an enhanced DBS and excellent references
Fit, active, and capable of keeping up with busy family life
Driver not essential, but must be able to commute if live-out
Days of Work, Accommodation and Salary:

Monday to Friday
5/6 hours per day depending on the family’s needs (can be split into morning and afternoon shifts with a break)
Salary: £20 per hour gross depending on experience
Start Date: November 2025
