Job Summary:
This family is seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Housekeeper to help maintain a clean and welcoming home. They highly value a tidy environment and are looking for someone who can support them in keeping everything running smoothly. Main responsibilities will include general housekeeping duties such as laundry and ironing (a top priority), changing bed linens, deep cleaning, and keeping cupboards and general spaces well-organized. The family has three young daughters — toddlers and a newborn — but nannies are employed to care for the children, so childcare is not required.
Additional duties include preparing simple meals for the parents (the father is gluten-free), with the ability to follow recipes appreciated. The role does not require driving, and there are no pets in the home. The house currently has four bedrooms, a nursery, two bathrooms, two separate toilets, and spans three floors. The family will be living in this home until February before relocating nearby. This is a great opportunity to work with a warm, respectful household that values reliability and attention to detail.


General Duties:
General housekeeping tasks (cleaning, tidying, laundry, ironing, etc.)
Deep cleaning throughout the home
Ensure the house is cleaned and maintained to a high standard
General cooking and food preparation, no specific cuisine only nice meals
All laundry duties, such as ironing and changing bedsheets
Organising and straightening up common areas like living rooms, bedrooms, and entryways
Wardrobe management of all the family including the children.
Changing the beds - that includes the children’s beds.
Keeping the playroom and toys tidied up when our nanny is rushing to get out of the house.
Running errands such as grocery shopping or picking up dry cleaning

Candidate Requirements:
Proficient in English
Proactive, approachable, and engaging
Previous experience in a private household
Happy to work in a home with three children
Friendly but discreet, with a keen eye for detail
Pride in achieving a high level of cleanliness in their role
Flexible and adaptable approach to work, proactive and able to work on own initiative


Enhanced DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
