Nanny
Overview

We’re seeking a caring, reliable and proactive Nanny to support our family and care for our child (G2) on a daily basis. The core of this role is hands-on childcare, with the option to take on additional housekeeping or household management responsibilities if desired. This role will provide needed support for a hands on Mum, relieving pressure to free up time for her other responsibilities.

We're ideally looking for somebody who can offer flexibility to support on average 1 evening per week, and 1-2 Saturdays per month where possible/with notice. Additionally, ability to travel for family holidays is highly desirable.

Our daughter is an extremely sweet, smart, funny and curious toddler, who is already obsessed with books and nature. She takes time to adjust to new people and environments, but once she's taken it all in will light up the room. She loves swimming, playing and being outdoors (especially with her best friend Baloo, our cocker spaniel).

We're thinking part-time initially, but this may increase to full-time if desired when taking on additional housekeeping and/or assistant responsibilities. Please note our primary focus at this time is nanny responsibilities, so do not be put off if you are not comfortable with other duties.

Key Responsibilities

Childcare Duties
• Provide attentive, engaging care for our daughter for at least 3 hours per day, including learning, playtime, and some meal preparation if comfortable.
• Occasionally support bedtime routines and supervise evening or weekend stays, including overnight care when required.
• Plan and supervise stimulating, age-appropriate activities that support learning and development.
• Maintain open, clear communication with parents about daily routines, progress, and wellbeing.

Optional Housekeeping Duties
• Light household organisation (tidying, laundry, kitchen upkeep, etc.)
• Preparing family meals or assisting with grocery shopping.
• Coordinating trades, deliveries or household supplies if interested in a broader household support role.

Requirements
• Enhanced DBS check (required)
• Paediatric First Aid certification (required)
• Demonstrated experience caring for children in private or HNW households preferred.
• A confident driver with a clean UK licence.
• Flexible, reliable and able to adapt to the family’s schedule.
• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally for family holidays when needed.

Schedule & Compensation
• Flexible working hours, with a minimum of 3 hours of active nannying per day.
• Additional hours available for housekeeping, evening, and weekend care as desired.
• Competitive pay, commensurate with experience and flexibility.

Personal Attributes
• Warm, trustworthy, and exceptionally discreet.
• Patient, creative, encouraging.
• Naturally organised and proactive.
• Calm under pressure, with excellent communication skills.
• A team-player approach with genuine affection for children and family life.
• Active and healthy lifestyle, absolutely no smokers.
