Maternity Nurse
CuroHelp.com is seeking a highly experienced and nurturing Maternity Nurse to support a private family based in Glasgow during the postnatal period.
This role is ideal for a professional with extensive newborn experience who can provide both practical care and emotional support to new parents.
The successful candidate will be calm, knowledgeable, and discreet — ensuring the family receives expert assistance through the crucial early weeks and months of their baby’s life.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide expert 24-hour care for newborns, supporting feeding, settling, and sleep routines.
• Advise and assist with breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, and expressing as needed.
• Establish healthy sleeping and feeding patterns for both baby and family.
• Monitor baby’s wellbeing, development, and growth, maintaining accurate records.
• Maintain a calm, nurturing environment for the baby and mother.
• Support parents with postnatal recovery and confidence-building.
• Sterilise bottles, manage baby laundry, and keep nursery areas tidy.
• Offer gentle, evidence-based guidance on newborn care practices.
• Respect family routines, values, and privacy at all times.
• Travel with the family when required (by arrangement).
Key Requirements
• Minimum 5 years’ professional experience as a Maternity Nurse, Newborn Specialist, or similar role.
• Recognised qualification such as MNT, NEST, OCN, or CACHE Level 3 in Maternity Nursing or Postnatal Care.
• Enhanced DBS check and Paediatric First Aid certification (current).
• Excellent knowledge of feeding techniques, sleep training, and infant health.
• Calm, reassuring, and emotionally intelligent personality.
• Flexible to work night shifts, 24-hour rotas, or travel assignments.
• Discreet, professional, and experienced within UHNW or VIP households.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
