I’m a single working parent looking for a full-time, live-out nanny for my 3-and-a-half-year-old daughter, located near to Stamford Brook Common. Start date 1 September 2026 / asap.

Hours are 11am to 9pm Monday to Friday. You should be fluent in English, without a strong accent, and should have experience of nannying to this age group as well as contactable and relevant references.

You’ll be a competent cook who can cater to the palate of a 3-year-old.

This is a sole charge role and the duties will include:

• Preparation and feeding of 3 meals per day (2 snacks, one main meal)
• Keeping the kitchen tidy and organised after feeding (surfaces, dishes, etc)
• Going out to walk and exercise during the day
• Supporting early years development and age-appropriate play
• Buying relevant items from the supermarket occasionally when needed
• Fetching medication if and when needed from the chemist
• Clearing up of toys so as to keep living spaces tidy and unencumbered
• Doing the child’s laundry
• Bathing

You will have a current enhanced DBS with Child Barring List and should

• Have common sense and be vigilant
• Be punctual, reliable, tidy, organised and capable of working independently
• Have the flexibility to (very) occasionally come earlier or stay later to support the parent in the event of work commitments
• Have the flexibility to occasionally take on a proxy-parenting role in the event of business travel (once a year at most)
• Have the right to work in the UK
• Live within a short commute, ideally 30 minutes or less

I don’t need a housekeeper, but I do expect that I won’t need to clean up after nanny and daughter once I’m done working for the day.

As September 2027 approaches, the hours will need to progressively move earlier in the day, with an earlier finish time, as my daughter will be going to school in September of 2027.

Pay will be market-related, commensurate with your qualifications and experience, for a guaranteed 50 hours per week with 28 days of paid leave per year. Any overtime will be paid overtime.
