We're a warm, professional family looking for an enthusiastic nanny to care for our 2.5-year-old boy/girl twins. We've chosen home-based learning over nursery to give them a richer, more personalised early years experience before they start Reception in September 2027 - and we're looking for someone who's excited about that approach.

What You'll Do

You'll design and deliver a tailored early years curriculum for our twins, blending teaching styles (Montessori, Reggio, EYFS, outdoor learning, creative arts) to match each child's needs and interests. We'll meet quarterly to review their progress and set new learning goals together - this is a true partnership.

This is active, hands-on childcare. Our twins are energetic little explorers who need someone with stamina, creativity, and genuine enthusiasm to keep up with them. You'll also prepare their meals and handle light housekeeping related to the children.

Hours & Compensation

Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm
Starting salary: £17 per hour gross (negotiable for the right candidate)
Contract: January 2026 - September 2027, with scope to continue once the children start school
Private driveway parking available

What We're Looking For

Relevant childcare qualifications and solid experience
Full UK driving licence with insurance for transporting children
Physically fit and energetic

Ability to create engaging, age-appropriate learning plans
Someone who thrives in a collaborative, communicative relationship
Excellent references

About Our Family

We run our own business, so we're often in and out of the home throughout the day. The twins have been in childcare since 4 months old, are well-established in their routines, and have lovely dispositions with no behavioral issues. We're moving to a more teaching-oriented approach to maximize their early learning potential.

You'll have full use of the kitchen and living room area with easy garden access - plenty of space for activities, messy play, and outdoor adventures.
