Nanny (Special needs)
SEN Nanny/Specialist Support Worker or SEN Nanny/Housekeeper needed for G24.

Our daughter, though an adult in age, has the cognitive abilities and interests of a young child due to her disability (think baking, arts and crafts, Peppa Pig, jigsaws, and board games). Whilst we are at work she is cared for by a team of nannies/support workers who work both one-on-one and alongside another nanny. We are now looking for a new team member to join us!

Your responsibilities would include supporting our daughter to attend her day classes, planning fun and engaging activities (including community trips), and assisting her with personal care and life skills.

We are looking for a female who:
- Has experience supporting children or young adults with SEN.
- Has experience working in a private home.
- Is fun, reliable, proactive, and discreet
- Is resilient, patient and calm ( she can display oppositional and self injurious behaviours)
- Feels confident working independently on a one-on-one basis and collaborating as part of a professional team and with family members.
- Understands the importance of routines and schedules for a young adult with ASD.
- Has a 'muck in' attitude to support the running of the house (a cleaner is also employed).
- Is comfortable with dogs and enjoys playing with/keeping them company. An animal lover is ideal as the family will soon move to a more rural home with additional animals.
- Is a confident driver, preferably with their own car and business insurance ( use of an automatic car can be arranged for use when on duty if not)
- Is preferably seeking a long term role

We offer:
- Flexible arrangements (full-time, part-time, job share, or rota).
- Term-time-only contracts if needed.
- Live-in accommodation if required.
- PAYE benefits (SSP, pension, holiday entitlement).
- A busy, professional family home where you will have autonomy.

A DBS can be arranged if you do not have one, relevant references will be required
