Job Summary: This lovely family with their first child is looking for a very experienced nanny to work with a stay-at-home mum. Dad is on paternity leave till February and as such are going to be in Dubai from December to February. The family are wanting the best nanny for their little boy and are happy for you to start in Dubai in December or on their return in February. This is a daily position you will be responsible for your own accommodation, but the family will cover all the costs with the move to Scotland
Extra information: Mum is a stay-at-home mum, and it is essential you are happy to work in a shared role, dad travels for work and the family would like you to join them on some of the trips
Job specification:
• This is a shared care role alongside mum – however it is important that you are confident to take care of the baby on your own on a sole charge basis when needed
• All nursery duties are required including laundry, keeping their sons’ areas (bedroom, playrooms etc) tidy as well as preparing fresh nutritious meals for him when he is ready
• Planning and arranging activities that will help with his development
• Taking the lead with weaning and potty training
• Packing-unpacking for travel
• Travelling with the family on some of the trips
Candidate specification:
• Someone who is patient, caring and has extensive experience with babies
• Confident with all the early years and milestones
• You should be confident in your ability to stimulate the little boy’s interests as he grows & develop.
• The family will view you as the third parent and this will very much a team approach as the parents want to be involved
• The family are looking for a nanny who has formal training – strong preference for Norland training – however they are open to speaking with nannies that have a strong cv with longevity in previous roles working with babies
• Excellent English skills are required, a great communicator who is very organised and thrives in a structured environment
• Someone who will be excited about moving to Scotland

Salary: up to £70,000 depending on your experience
Enhanced dbs. dated within the year and pediatric first aid will be required at offer stage
