Overview
A warm, respectful small family in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced live-in SEN Nanny to support the care, development, and daily routine of their 4-year-old daughter. The child presents with speech delay and some behavioural challenges, including difficulty expressing her needs and episodes of distress or emotional dysregulation.

This is a hands-on role for a calm, patient, and skilled professional who is confident supporting children with developmental delays and behavioural needs, while creating a nurturing and structured environment.

Schedule
6 working days per week

Five days at 8 hours per day

One day at 10 hours per day

Tuesday is the fixed day off

The child attends school daily from 7:00–14:00

Responsibilities
Daily Care & SEN Support

Provide attentive, patient care tailored to a child with speech delay and behavioural challenges

Implement strategies for emotional regulation, communication support, and positive behavioural reinforcement

Help the child express needs safely and constructively

Plan and deliver age-appropriate, developmentally supportive activities

Routine & Activities

Support morning and after-school routines

Engage the child in preferred activities including swimming, outdoor play, and football

Encourage social interaction, confidence-building, and structured play

Learning & Development

Reinforce communication goals and developmental strategies in line with school and any therapy providers

Provide consistency, predictability, and a calm approach during meltdowns or distress

Environment & Communication

Maintain a safe, stable, well-organised household environment

Provide daily updates to parents as requested

Work collaboratively with the family to ensure continuity of care

Candidate Requirements
Experienced SEN Nanny or childcare professional with strong background supporting children with speech delay and behavioural needs

Skilled in managing emotional regulation, communication challenges, and early-years developmental support

Calm, patient, consistent, and able to work within a private family household

Culturally aware, respectful, and professional at all times

Must be comfortable living in an alcohol-free household environment

English-speaking; the child understands and communicates in English

Accommodation
Private bedroom and bathroom provided within the family home

Package
£4,000 net per month

Family provides visa

One return flight home per contract year

28 days paid holiday per year
