Maternity Nurse (day time), SW1

Start Date: ASAP (3 month initial contract)
Daytime hours, typically 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (or as agreed with the family). There may be occasional requirement for flexibility depending on the family's needs.
Mon-Sat ideally
£25 gph (DOE)

Key Responsibilities
- Provide complete care for the newborn during daytime hours, including feeding, bathing, changing, and establishing routines
- Offer expert guidance to parents on all aspects of newborn care, including feeding schedules, sleep training, and developmental milestones
- Maintain meticulous records of the baby's feeding, sleeping, and general wellbeing
- Sterilise and prepare bottles and feeding equipment to the highest hygiene standards
- Care for the baby's nursery, laundry, and personal items
- Provide emotional and practical support to the mother during the postnatal period
- Work seamlessly with other household staff and respect the family's privacy at all times
- Remain flexible and adaptable to the family's evolving needs

Essential Requirements
- Formal qualifications in childcare required
- Extensive experience: Minimum 5-10 years working as a Maternity Nurse, with demonstrable experience in similar high-profile positions
- Outstanding references: Verifiable references from previous high-profile or high-net-worth families
- Enhanced DBS check: Current or willing to obtain
- First Aid certification: Current paediatric first aid qualification
- Absolute discretion: Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and respect for the family's privacy
- Professionalism: Impeccable presentation, communication skills, and professional demeanour
- Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to the family's schedule and requirements

Desirable Attributes
- Experience working with royal, diplomatic, or celebrity families
- Norland trained seen as an advantage but not a requirement
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally if required
