We are seeking an experienced, warm, and educationally-minded Live-in Nanny/Tutor to provide exceptional care and academic support for our 2 children, aged 4.5. This is primarily a Nanny role, with the specific requirement to dedicate one hour each day to focused English instruction/tutoring.

Location: This is a position based primarily between our residences in Fukuoka, Japan, and Nanjing, China. Kids are attending kintergardens in Japan but they fly back to Nanjing, China on holidays.

?? Contract & Schedule
Work Pattern: A standard [5 / 6]-day working week.

Days Off: [1 /2] consecutive days off per week.

Core Hours: Approximately 50-60 active working hours per week (7-9 hours per day).

?? Key Responsibilities
The role is divided between primary childcare and professional tutoring duties.

I. Nanny Duties (Approx. 80% Focus)
Routine Management: Overseeing and maintaining the children's daily schedule, including sleep, mealtimes, and activities.

Daily Care: Handling all aspects of the children’s welfare, hygiene, dressing, and health monitoring.

Meals: Preparing nutritious and age-appropriate meals and snacks for the children (With help of housekeeper, If housekeeper is around, no need for meal preparation.).

Activities: Planning and organizing engaging, educational, and fun activities (e.g., outdoor play, reading, cultural outings).

Transportation: Safe school and activity drop-offs and collections (No need to Drive, we have driver).

Child-related Housekeeping: Maintaining the cleanliness of the children's bedrooms, play areas, and laundry.

Monitoring/Babysitting: Required to be on call for 1-3 evenings per week (subject to discussion).

II. Tutoring Duties (Approx. 20% Focus)
Daily English Instruction: Dedicating one hour per day to structured English tutoring.

Curriculum: Developing and implementing a personalized teaching plan focused on increasing kids intrest in English speaking

Homework Support: Supervising and assisting with school homework to ensure timely and complete submission (Rare cuz kids are at kintergarden).

Motivation: Fostering a positive attitude towards learning and building strong study habits.

Salary: 2,200 /GBPto 2,500 GBP/Mon

Accommodation: Private, comfortable accommodation provided free of charge.

Meals: All meals are included (Full Board).

Holidays: 15-20 days (statutory pro-rata entitlement).

Flight Reimbursement: 700 pounds per year
? Candidate Requirements
Experience: Minimum of [1] year experience in a professional Nanny or Nanny/Tutor role.

Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Education, Linguistics, Childcare or a related field.

Tutoring Certification: TESOL/TEFL or formal teaching qualification (QTS) is highly desirable OR relevant tutoring and teaching experience is required

Language: Must be fluent in English with excellent command of grammar and pronunciation.

Legal: Valid Enhanced DBS check, Paediatric First Aid certificate (preferred), and superb professional references.
