Overview
Happy Nest has the pleasure of supporting a lovely family in London N4 who are seeking a caring and confident sole-charge nanny for their baby, who will be around 6 months old at the start of the placement. He is an active and inquisitive little one, and the family hopes to find someone who can keep him stimulated, engaged, and happily exploring his world.
About the Role
The nanny will take full daily responsibility for the child’s wellbeing, routine, and development. This position requires a nanny with strong infant experience, particularly someone confident in supporting early milestones such as weaning, adjusting nap routines, teething, and sensory development.
Key Responsibilities
• Planning and leading age-appropriate developmental and sensory activities
• Taking him on walks, attending playgroups, sensory classes, and local outings
• Supporting weaning and preparing nutritious meals for the child
• Managing nap routines and adapting as his needs change
• Child laundry and keeping all child-related areas tidy and well-organised
• Creating a warm, nurturing, and structured daily environment
• Ensuring his safety and wellbeing at all times
• Light nursery duties related to the child
Ideal Candidate Requirements
• At least 5 years of professional nanny experience
• Strong experience caring for babies around this age
• Checkable childcare references
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
• Up-to-date Paediatric First Aid
• A warm, confident nanny who enjoys engaging active little ones
• Must be available for paid trial days as part of the selection process
