We are a warm, family-oriented household in Islington looking for a kind, reliable full-time (40 hours per week) nanny/housekeeper to care for our 14-month year old daughter (A) and support our home. We are hoping to find someone who will become a trusted part of our family for the long run and grow with A as her needs change over time. Start date in January.

We’re looking for a nanny to:
- Provide high-quality, developmentally appropriate 1:1 care, especially in A’s early years
- Support our day-to-day routines and parenting approach, adapting them as A grows
- Help with the role Mum would otherwise do at home (housekeeping/household support)
- Allow Mum to work while still spending time with A on the days she works from home (2 days per week)

We’re looking for someone who is:
- Warm, attentive, and playful
- Happy to engage A in home-based play and simple activities now, while being open to introducing more outings, classes, and structured activities later on as her needs change.
- Comfortable supporting independent play and moments of boredom, recognising these as important developmental skills
- Open to guidance and collaboration around routines, activities, and care preferences, and able to adjust when asked
- Proactive with housekeeping as a natural part of the role and enjoys helping keep a well-run home: tidying/vacuuming common areas, folding family laundry, chopping vegetables, light errands
- Physically active and happy to chase after an energetic toddler, and to take her out when appropriate (parks, museums, classes, playdates)
- Comfortable with parents working from home (Mum works from home 2 days a week) and with grandparents being present at times
- Healthy cook who enjoys nutritious food (confident cooking vegetarian food)
- Based in London and able to commute reliably
- Happy to babysit occasionally (evenings/weekends, with notice)
- Comfortable caring for both babies and toddlers, as we hope to grow our family in the future
- Looking for a long-term role and excited to become part of a family
