We are a welcoming family based in Maidstone who view our nanny as a partner and an extension of our family. We value clear communication, fair treatment, and building a trusting relationship with the person caring for our daughter. We are looking for someone who can help her grow, have fun, and keep her safe during this few months together.
The Role
We are seeking a proactive, energetic, and experienced nanny for a fixed-term contract of approx. 3.5 months. You will be caring for our daughter, Gigi, who will be 9 months old at the start of the position.
Contract Details
• Dates: 16th March 2026 – 30th June 2026 (Fixed Term).
• Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.
• Hours: Standard hours are 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (30 hours per week).
• Location: Maidstone.
About Gigi
Gigi is a bright, alert, and spirited 9-month-old. She is very observant and prefers active engagement over quiet time! She thrives with a nanny who is fully present, attentive to her cues, and eager to get down on the floor to play. We are looking for someone who has the energy to keep up with her and enjoys a busy, interactive day rather than a passive routine.
Flexibility Requirement (Mondays)
Mondays are London travel days for Dad. We are looking for a nanny who can offer flexibility at both ends of the day on Mondays:
• Early Starts: Occasional earlier starts (e.g., 7:00 AM) may be required for client meetings (arranged with advance notice).
• Late Finishes: Flexibility to stay past 6:00 PM is required in the event of train delays returning from London.
• Note: All overtime is paid.
Location & Outings
Driving is not required for this role. We are fortunate to be located just a 20-minute walk from the town centre, with countless parks and green spaces easily accessible on foot (some less than 10 minutes away). We are looking for a nanny who enjoys the outdoors and is happy to take Gigi out for walks and adventures in the local area.
Duties
• Sole charge care of Gigi.
• Managing age-appropriate routines (naps, milk feeds, and weaning/solids).
• Organizing developmental activities and outings.
• Light nursery duties (tidying play areas, baby laundry).
Requirements
• Ofsted Registration: Highly preferred (we intend to use the Tax-Free Childcare/Salary Sacrifice scheme).
• Experience: Previous professional nanny experience, ideally with infants or high-energy toddlers.
• Qualifications: Enhanced DBS and Paediatric First Aid are essential.
