Support Worker – Nottingham (NG15).
An exciting opportunity for an experienced *male Support Worker to support Adam, a warm and sociable 37-year-old gentleman with an Acquired Brain Injury. £18.00 gross per hour.
Nearest Station: Nottingham train station
Salary/Wage: £18.00 gross per hour
Driving: Essential – own car required (business insurance covered, mileage paid at £0.45 per mile)
Essential: Previous experience supporting adults with Acquired Brain Injury. Male applicants only.
Start Date: January / February 2026
Hours: 16 hours per week (ideally two 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday – flexible days)

About the Client: Adam is a friendly, independent 37-year-old man who lives alone with his dog. He enjoys cinema trips, cooking, day outings, and would love to return to the gym. Adam experiences anxiety around new situations and benefits from encouragement, structure and motivation. He manages his personal care independently and keeps a tidy home but would value support with planning routines, building confidence and engaging in meaningful activities.
The Role: This is a gentle, relationship-led role focused on building trust. You’ll support Adam with planning his week, motivating earlier starts, walking his dog, attending the gym, cooking, day trips (e.g. National Trust visits) and gradually building towards volunteering and longer outings. The focus is confidence-building, structure and positive engagement.
Who This Role Suits: An experienced, patient and positive *male Support Worker with ABI experience, who knows when to step forward with guidance and when to step back. A genuine interest in motivating and empowering others is essential.
