Young Venezuelan / German Family in London Looking, Full-Time Live-in or live out Nanny for 18 month baby girl

Please note this contract will be until end, end of June 2026 with the possibility of extending until end of Sept in another country (Portugal).

Schedule:

Live-in or live out is required to work full-time hours, ranging from 8-12 hours a day, Monday to Friday, 8am-8pm. 40-45 hour work with with breaks in between. Schedule will be discussed and agreed.

Option to stay later some night and assist with Babysitting

Any extra hours (e.g. after 8pm or weekends) are paid extra for £15 GBP or swapped as time off during the week.

Flexible with work that may involve travelling with the family or sole care looking after the baby while the parents are away or on weekends.

Domestic animals: No

Compensation: £15 Net per hour

JOB DESCRIPTION

The nanny will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to our 18 month old baby girl, who was born in June 2024, addressing aspects related to health, well-being and physical and emotional development.

The Father works full-time and the mother part-time. Both are flexible and hands on. In this role the ideal candidate will focus on care for the baby while also supporting the parents with administrative work around caring for the baby. Currently we have a fantastic cleaner who comes twice a week and has been with our family for many years. Our cleaner will continue to be responsible for the majority of the housework including the parents’ laundry and house cleaning however in this role the ideal candidate will help keep the house tidy and be responsible for all child care cleaning (laundry, bottles, preparing the baby’s food etc.). We also have a wonderful cook that prepares mediterranean style meals once a week for the whole family.

ABOUT OUR FAMILY

Our family values a happy, calm, and clean household with organisation being key to our success in raising our baby. We live in a central residential area of London (Maida Vale/Notting Hill) with access to a large park, Jaego House club for kids on Harrow road and public transport within walking distance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties including baby care, bottle feeding, light food preparation
On-schedule feeding including preparation of formula (we have a machine that helps with this)
Care of the baby’s clothes, feeding items, and toys
Following sleep routines
Simple cooking for the baby, solids, healthy and nutritious meals
Educating through play and engaging in a wide range of games and activities
Taking baby the park, Jaego house on Harrow road, and playing outdoors as well as daily activities such as messy monkey, caterpillar music and play centers in the neighbourhood

REQUIREMENT AND SKILLS

A minimum of 5 years experience as a nanny
Excellent understanding of child development in different age stages and
Multitasking skills
A pleasant, positive, calm and patient personality
Understanding of sharing an apartment space, discretion and care
Passionate about child caring
Physical fitness
Ability to provide to provide a minimum of 2 written / verbal references with contact numbers, first aid certificate and Enhanced DBS check.
Spanish speaking is a plus
