Mortimer Nannies are delighted to be supporting a busy professional family in their search for a kind, capable, and proactive nanny to care for their two young boys.This role would suit a nanny who enjoys taking ownership of their position and becoming a trusted part of a family’s daily life. The parents are seeking someone warm and nurturing, who brings ideas, initiative, and genuine enthusiasm to the children’s care and development.
• One baby (6 months old)
• One school-aged child (4 years old)
The Role
• Sole charge care of the baby during the day
• School pick-up at 4:00pm and support through the evening routine and dinner
• Full childcare for both children during school holidays
• Preparing healthy, nutritious meals for the children
• Managing the children’s laundry, feeding equipment, and keeping their bedrooms clean, tidy, and well organised
• Purchasing supplies and running errands related to the children
• Driving for school pick-ups and activities (a car can be provided if needed)
• Supporting the parents in creating and maintaining developmentally appropriate routines for the baby
• Confident and happy using a Nanit baby monitor system as part of the baby’s daily routine and sleep monitoring
The nanny will be encouraged to plan engaging, age-appropriate activities and will have autonomy to book suitable classes for the children. This family would love the baby to do swimming lessons, particularly. Organising playdates and supporting the children’s social and developmental growth is very welcome.
