A kind, loving, happy, organised and energetic rota nanny is required for a busy but very relaxed family. The children are energetic and love being outside. They are also musical and sporty so a nanny who can keep up with them is a must. The family do need a nanny who can drive as they visit the countryside often, and the older child will probably be going to a prep outside of central London. Although he will be getting a bus to and from school, in case of emergencies and on the odd occasion, nanny may need to collect/drop off. The younger child goes to a nursery local to the home. From September he will be at a local pre prep school.

Mum works part time but has long periods where she is at home. The role is a mix of shared care and sole care but nanny must be ok with the occasions that mum is working and can hold the fort whist shes away. Dad is a professional who works long hours and sometimes goes away on business abroad. Although both parent's make every effort not to be away at the same time, it's not unheard of, but extremely rare.

The children eat simple but healthy gluten and dairy free food which nanny will be expected to cook. All washing, cleaning of children's areas and bed making etc is done by the housekeeper, however a 'muck in attitude' is required.

The family home is a large victorian house in Notting Hill which has 6 floors of stairs and no lift. The nanny accommodation is above the children's floor. There is lots of downtime during term time, although after school times are busy due to extra curriculars. Both parents are hands on with drop offs/pick ups and ferrying to and from clubs both during the week and weekends. The parents are very happy to give nanny autonomy to decide on meals, what the children wear and organise days out and play dates. There is a nanny card and car for use whilst on duty.

This role would suit a nanny who is upbeat with a sunny disposition, organised, has an interest in healthy eating and wellbeing with a history of working in a busy home. A genuine love for children, play based learning, ensuring the children's milestones are hit are obviously important. Having the ability to pivot when necessary and adapt to the needs of a dynamic, modern family with 2 lively but incredably loving and happy children is essential. The family do travel during school holidays, but nothing extensive and this is shared with the other rota nanny.
