We are a warm and relaxed family based in Chiswick looking for a caring and switched-on nanny to look after our two children after school in term time, and full time in holidays. We are hoping to find someone who is engaging, reliable, proactive, and who will become a trusted part of our family for the long-term. You will find us easy going to work with, and the children are an absolute delight, well-behaved and full of energy! We are close to our current and previous nannies and would be happy for any candidate to speak with either of them.

START DATE: March 2026
CONTRACT: Permanent, live-out
CHILDREN: Girl (5), Boy (7)
SALARY: £15ph net (£29,000 gross equivalent, year-round pay)
LOCATION: 3 mins walk from Chiswick train station (Grove Park)

SCHEDULE
- Term time: Monday to Friday, 2pm–7pm
- School holidays: Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm
- Occasional Saturdays, max once per month (e.g. 10am–5pm); sometimes a swap for a weekday but often an additional day paid extra
- Flexibility for occasional extra paid hours and baby sitting is appreciated

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a sole-charge childcare role, focused on all child-related duties, including:
- School and activity pick-ups (school is 7 min walk from our home)
- Daily homework support, clubs and organising play dates
- Keeping routines running smoothly, and encouraging independence
- Confidently preparing simple, healthy meals for the children
- Planning ahead for school days and activities, and holiday activities
- Laundry and keeping children's clothing and wardrobes organised
- Tidying children’s bedrooms, play areas and cleaning the kitchen after use
- Mum may be in and out depending on her work schedule, so the nanny must be confident managing the children independently.

THE IDEAL NANNY
We are looking for someone who is:
- Warm, caring, confident and genuinely engaging with children
- Highly organised and able to plan ahead
- Proactive, with strong initiative and the ability to anticipate the children’s needs
- Minimum 5yrs professional nanny experience
- Comfortable with some flexibility in hours
- First language or entirely fluent in spoken and written English to confidently support homework

PAY STRUCTURE
£15 net per hour
Paid year-round across 37 term-time weeks and 15 school holiday weeks
Includes 5 weeks paid holiday when the family is on holiday, plus bank holidays
We propose a monthly salary averaged out to capture these hours over the year and provide stability for you
If interested for additional paid hours, further house keeping / cleaning is welcome, but otherwise not required!
