We are a young family in our 30s, with 2 young children under 2. We have a little girl called Kim who is 19 months old and a little boy that is 8 weeks old. We are looking for a Nanny Housekeeper that can drive, preferably live in, but will consider full time live out.

We live in a beautiful house in the countryside near Great Dunmow. We have 6 acres of land, 3 dogs and hope to get more animals soon.

We love the outdoors and want our children to spend as much time outside as possible. We plan to homeschool our children as we do not agree with the school system. When we travel we often drive and camp, but we do like nice hotels and cabins too. We want our children to have a fun adventurous life, but to also be ok with boredom and the mundane parts of life. They have very few toys and are/will be encouraged to help with chores. We plan to have more children as we would like a large family. I do not work and have no plans to as I want to focus on raising my family, my husband has his own business and often works from home, but can also be away for a few nights here and there.

We are looking for someone who is loving, nurturing, energetic, loves the outdoors, will encourage our children to try new things and allow them to make mistakes. We desire a nanny that wants to be a part of the family, come with us on holidays, trips & days out. Spending the majority of your time with me (Lucy) and the children, that said I plan to spend as much time with my children as I can, therefore we will be together a lot, this role is not about me passing my children onto someone else, it’s more about having an extra person to help so that I can enjoy my children fully and be a present mother. You must love animals and be comfortable around them. We have 3 dogs and plan to get chickens and horses/ponies. You must drive and will have access to a ford Ranger at all times.

General Nanny duties include, playing with the children, tidying up with them, teaching them things that we approve of, cooking meals for them & with them, taking them to hobby lessons as they grow up.

General housekeeping duties include: laundry, cleaning, grocery shopping, some food prep.

Other duties: helping with dogs occasionally, driving, admin
