Hi there!
We are a family of three based out Mill Hill, London. Our son Alexander is currently 9 months old, and we are looking for:
1) A live-in nanny to join us until end of June, starting time is as soon as possible as our current nanny needs to leave soon due to family emergency
2) A live-out part-time nanny from July for 2-3 days a week
Ideally the same nanny can take on both jobs but we are flexible.

Our ideal candidate:
- Reliable and professional, yet becomes 'super fun' the moment they are with our son! We need someone who is naturally reserved and proactive within the household but deeply patient and engaging during playtime.
- We value an approach that is both scientific and personal: our nanny must be able to understand our baby's needs, and adapt care strategies accordingly and based on evidence.
- At least 10 years of experience as a private nanny and/or working in a nursery. SEN experience is a plus.
- As a Chinese/German family, we're looking to develop our son's language skills in English and Mandarin, ideally also German. Fluency in Mandarin is our preference, but not a hard requirement for the otherwise ideal candidate.

Environment and accommodation:
- We have a dedicated floor for nursery in our home
- For live-in position: We provide a private 1b1b flat with lift access and parking in a new build directly next to our townhouse. This would be your own dedicated space, complete with modern finishes like underfloor heating and hardwood floors. You’ll have full access to building perks, including concierge service and private communal garden

Responsibilities:
- Full nursery duties, including feeding, cooking for him, nappy changing, cleaning his clothes, bathing, tidying up the nursery, cleaning and sanitising his toys and tablewares
- Arranging play time - we’d love for our son to have a balanced mix of interaction and independent exploration. Organising fun and educational activities such as classes and regular outdoor time
- Openness to light housework - while we have a housekeeper twice a week for the heavy lifting, we appreciate a nanny who is happy to help with daily upkeep such as taking out the trash, emptying the dishwasher and keeping common areas tidy
- Willingness to travel with us 1-2 weeks a year
- Schedule: Typically 8:00/8:30 to 18:30/19:00, Monday to Friday, and 2-3 days/week starting in July. Occasionally evenings /weekends but will be agreed in advance and compensated. Exact timing can be discussed.
