Nanny
Full-Time Daily Nanny – SW London
A battersea family seeking a long-term professional, experienced and qualified daily nanny to care for two lovely boys (a toddler and a baby). The nanny should have experience with babies and toddlers, the toddler attends local nursery in the mornings (5 days) during term time.
Suitable person should be qualified professional career nanny who is comfortable in both sole charge and shared parenting situations. Both parents work full time out of the home in demanding jobs so flexibility is required.
ABOUT THE CHILDREN
The boys are happy, energetic, curious and caring children. Thrives in an environment with routine but where there is lots of love and fun. The toddler is very socialable and confident and enjoys being in the company of other children. He currently attends nursery 5 mornings per week. Nanny would initially be predominantly caring for the baby in the mornings and toddler in the afternoons after nursery. From September older boy in school until the afternoon during term time so role would be focused around the baby (9 months) with school collection and caring for both children until parents home in the evening. During school holidays nanny would be responsible for both children.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Our ideal candidate is someone looking for a long term position with a family, who would slot into our household and feel part of the family and have:
- An excellent CV with extensive experience caring for babies and toddlers
- A background in early years education (highly desirable)
- Min college / bachelor education
- Fluent English (essential)
- A warm, energetic, and nurturing personality
- A long-term mindset and commitment to continuity of care as we need a nanny for 5yrs+
- A valid driving licence for driving when outside of London (preferred but not essential
- We are seeking someone who can combine affectionate and fun care with structured developmental guidance as the child grows.
- willing to travel with the family on occasion
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Full nursery duties (meal prep, naps, child development, tidying up after the child, baby laundry and ironing)
- preparing healthy, balanced nutritious meals for the children and weaning for the baby at the appropriate time
- Supporting developmental milestones through stimulating age appropriate creative play and activities
- Providing educational guidance and academic preparation as the children grow
- encouraging outdoor activities and routines that support physical and emotional wellbeing
- comfortable working in sole charge and in shared care with parents to provide a calm, nurturing environment
Requirements
• DBS check and paediatric first aid (essential)
• Experience caring for babies/toddlers in a nanny role
• Fluent English essential
• Calm, positive, and professional approach
WORKING HOURS
- Monday - Friday 8am-7pm

The family home is a 3 minute walk to Battersea Park and 10 minutes to Battersea Power Station
TRAVEL
The nanny would occasionally be required to travel with the family on holiday or visiting family in Europe.
