Nanny / Housekeeper – Godstone, Surrey – Approx. 32 Hours per Week (Reducing to ~28 from September)
A warm and welcoming family based in Godstone is seeking an experienced, highly organised and trustworthy Nanny/Housekeeper to support their busy household.
This is a long-term position combining high-standard housekeeping with attentive childcare support. The role would ideally suit a local candidate who takes pride in maintaining a beautiful home environment and has a genuine interest in the wellbeing and success of children.

Hours
Current schedule (approximately 32 hours per week):
1. Monday: 7:00am – 6:45pm (with unpaid split during school hours)
2. Tuesday: 7:00am – 6:15pm (with unpaid split during school hours)
3. Wednesday: 3 hours (school collection and dinner)
4. Thursday: 7:00am – 6:45pm
From September, when both children will attend the same school and use the school bus, early starts (7:00/7:15am) may no longer be required and total hours are expected to reduce to approximately 28 hours per week.
There is flexibility around the exact structure of hours, particularly from September onwards.

Responsibilities
Housekeeping Duties
1. All cleaning throughout the home (including bathrooms)
2. Maintaining exceptionally high housekeeping standards
3. Laundry management, including washing, ironing and sorting (particularly children’s clothing)
4. Keeping the home organised and running smoothly
Childcare Duties
1. Taking children to school, football clubs and friends, and collecting them
2. Cooking for the children after school
3. Checking homework is completed
4. Supporting structured routines and encouraging positive habits
Household Support
1. Filling the car with petrol
2. Occasional light supermarket shopping (primarily for the children)
3. Occasional parcel drop-offs
4. General assistance to ensure the household runs efficiently
