Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am to 8:30am and 3:30pm to 6:30pm

A professional family are seeking an experienced and dependable live-out nanny to care for their two children, a boy aged 11 and a girl aged 13.

Both parents work in finance and are office-based. They are looking for a confident, organised nanny who can manage daily routines independently and provide a supportive and engaging environment for two older children.

The 13-year-old girl enjoys music and reading and would benefit from encouragement around her creative and academic interests. The 11-year-old boy also enjoys music and is particularly keen on sports, especially football. A nanny who can engage positively with their individual interests while maintaining clear structure and boundaries will be highly valued.



Duties will include:

• Supporting the morning routine and school drop-off
• School pick-up and afternoon care
• Preparing snacks and meals
• Supporting with homework and after-school activities
• Children’s laundry and ironing
• Light family housekeeping including daily hoovering and assisting with dishes
• Running occasional errands
• Pet care for the family cat

The family does not employ any other household staff, therefore the nanny must be comfortable assisting with light household duties alongside childcare responsibilities.



Essential Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ professional childcare experience
• Full UK driving licence
• Confident and safe driver
• Proven experience managing children with food allergies



Both children have nut allergies and there is also a sesame seed allergy within the household. The nanny must be experienced and confident in allergy management, including careful meal preparation, checking ingredients, preventing cross-contamination and understanding emergency procedures where required.

Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet all of the usual Happy Nest Nanny & Maternity Agency criteria, which include:

A minimum of 5 years professional nanny experience, ideally within private homes
Experience caring for children of similar ages
A full clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work
A current Enhanced DBS Certificate on the update service (or willing to apply)
A valid Paediatric First Aid certificate
Excellent, checkable references from previous nanny roles
Confident, reliable and flexible, with a proactive approach and calm, nurturing manner
