Full-Time Pediatric Nurse / Developmental Specialist in Kuwait

A family based in Kuwait is seeking a highly qualified Pediatric Nurse / Developmental Specialist to support the care and development of their 15-month-old daughter, who has been diagnosed with Floating-Harbour Syndrome, a rare genetic condition that may affect growth and speech development.

The child currently presents a mild form of the condition, and the family is committed to providing the highest level of support through collaboration with international medical specialists and therapists.

The household is fully staffed, and two Norland Nannies are already in place to manage the child’s daily care routines. This role focuses primarily on medical oversight, developmental support, and coordination with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

? Provide daily pediatric health monitoring and nursing care
? Support developmental exercises recommended by doctors and therapists
? Assist with speech therapy practices and early developmental stimulation
? Monitor nutrition, growth, and overall wellbeing
? Maintain accurate medical records and developmental progress reports
? Coordinate with speech therapists, physiotherapists, and pediatric specialists
? Accompany the child to medical appointments when required
? Work collaboratively with the existing nanny team and parents
? Ensure a safe, nurturing, and developmentally supportive environment
? Travel with the family when required

Ideal Candidate Profile

? Highly experienced pediatric professional with strong developmental knowledge
? Patient, compassionate, and attentive personality
? Organised and comfortable working within a fully staffed household
? Strong communicator able to liaise confidently with international specialists
? Discreet, professional, and proactive

Essential Requirements

? Registered Nurse (RN) or Pediatric Nursing qualification
? Minimum 5 years of professional experience with infants or young children
? Excellent English communication skills
? Strong understanding of pediatric development and early intervention
? Willingness to relocate to Kuwait if applying internationally
