Lovely part time Nanny role with a warm, welcoming family and adorable toddler twins

Job Summary:
A warm and welcoming family in SE London is looking for a part-time Nanny / mother’s help to assist with their 15 month old twins. The family already employs another part time Nanny who works three days per week and is now seeking additional help on the remaining days.

Days required:
Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday – 8:30am/9am to 6pm/6:30pm
The family is happy for candidates to work all four days or a minimum of two days per week, and you may choose the days that suit you best.

This role will mainly be a mother’s help position. Mum is usually at home, although there may be times when she steps out for an hour or two. The role will involve a mix of shared care and occasional sole care, with the main focus being to provide an extra pair of hands throughout the day.

Job specification:
• Engaging and playing with the twins
• Supporting with daily routines
• Going to walks to parks/playgrounds
• Assisting with groceries and meal planning
• Helping with meals for the boys (and occasionally make more for parents)
• Helping keep play, childrens areas and kitchen tidy
• Occasionally helping list or donate the boys clothes and items they’ve grown out of
• Light household support such as emptying/loading the dishwasher
• General assistance to help the boys day run smoothly
• Pet care – taking the dogs for walks, feeding, taking to vet when needed

Candidate specification:
• Experienced with toddlers or similar aged children
• Someone playful and able to read to the children – enjoys doing these activities
• Warm, engaging and genuinely enjoys playing with children
• Proactive and organised
• Able to use their initiative
• Flexible and calm, and not easily overwhelmed
• Happy to muck in and help where needed
• Pet friendly with dogs


Enhanced DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
