A family in St Albans is seeking a nanny for their daughter who is just turning 2
Her 10 year old step-brother also joins them every other week so you'd encompass him during those weeks
They offer 3.5 days per week. This would be Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 7.15-6.30pm, and then Thursdays 7.15-12pm
Same hours year round. The youngest will be in nursery Thursdays, so you'll drop her in (and her brother every other week) then time for nanny duties. They may offer some ad hoc overtime on the Thurs/Fri, odd day in holidays or if nursery is shut, but this isnt guaranteed
This is a long term role to start late April / early May. The role is sole charge - parents are out Mon-Wed, WFH on Thurs
They offer £29k-£33k gross per annum
They do not need you to be Ofsted registered
You will be a driver with your own car for work use (mileage paid)
No pets or SEN requirements
They ask for typical nanny duties - childrens laundry, cooking, beds etc - time provided Thursday mornings. They keep a tidy house so someone happy to leave it that way too is appreciated - keep the kitchen clean, tidy after you and kids. They hire a separate cleaner
They would love for you to take the youngest out - she enjoys a gymnastic class, and swimming, at present
The eldest has some afterschool activities so on his weeks you'll also take him to those
This family would value a warm, kind and loving nanny who is inclusive of a blended family and enjoys other cultures - a second language is a bonus (but not a requirement!)
Babysitting on occasion would be appreciated but again isnt a must
This position will not suit a NWOC
