Part-Time Nanny – Herne Hill, London

A warm and welcoming family based in Herne Hill are seeking a reliable and engaging part-time nanny to care for their two children aged 3 and 5 years. The role will start in mid-April and would suit a nanny who enjoys supporting busy family life and creating a calm, fun, and nurturing environment for young children.

Core Working Hours
The family are offering 20 guaranteed hours per week, with the core schedule as follows:
Tuesday: 7:00am–9:00am and 3:00pm–6:00pm
Wednesday: 3:00pm–7:00pm
Thursday: 7:00am–9:00am and 3:00pm–9:00pm
The family may occasionally offer additional daytime hours for a nanny who enjoys helping with family cooking, light household organisation, or errands on the days the mornings are requited.

Duties
The role will include all usual nanny duties, such as:
Supporting the children with their morning and after-school routines
School and nursery drop-offs and pick-ups
Planning fun, age-appropriate activities, outings, and play
Preparing simple, healthy meals for the children
Supporting with bath and evening routines on Thursday
Keeping children’s areas tidy and organised
Encouraging positive behaviour and independence

Additional Information
A driver would be ideal, and the family can provide a car for work use.
The family do not have pets.
There may be opportunities for additional hours during school holidays, although the family do travel during some holiday periods.
