Nanny
Full-Time Nanny – Leigh-on-Sea, Essex
A warm and busy professional family in Leigh-on-Sea are seeking a reliable, caring, fun and proactive full-time nanny to join their household and care for their three children.
The role will primarily focus on the youngest child while also supporting the smooth running of the children's daily routines, school schedules and activities.
Children
Three children aged 12, 9 and 2
Location
Leigh-on-Sea, Essex
Start Date
ASAP. The family would like a transition period before their current nanny leaves in mid-June to ensure continuity for the children and a smooth handover.
Hours
Monday to Friday, generally around 7:30am to 5:30pm (approximately 50 hours per week).
A degree of flexibility is required as the family's schedule can vary. Hours may move slightly day to day (typically around 30 minutes either side), with anything further agreed in advance.
About the Family
Both parents work full-time and run their own businesses, leading a busy household. They are looking for someone dependable who can become a trusted and valued part of the family.
The two older children attend Thorpe Hall School. The youngest currently attends nursery three mornings per week and will likely move to Thorpe Hall when reaching reception age.
Their current nanny has been with the family for around two and a half years and is only leaving as she is relocating abroad. The family are therefore keen to ensure a smooth transition and maintain a stable, positive environment for the children.
The household also has a miniature cockapoo and two cats, so the nanny should be comfortable around pets.
The family are open to candidates from a variety of childcare backgrounds and would particularly welcome applicants currently working in nursery settings who are looking to transition into a private nanny role.
