On behalf of our private client, we are seeking a kind and nurturing English-speaking Governess to support a family based in Switzerland, with five children aged 14, 12, 10, and 5-year-old twins.

The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background, ideally in early childhood education, warm, flexible, and passionate about childcare. The parents are quite hands-on therefore, being a team-player is very important.

Flexibility to travel internationally with the family is essential. Swiss/EU driver’s licence is essential, with confident driving skills. Fluency in English is essential, and while Italian and French would be a bonus.

Flexibility required around family travel and schedule changes

Duties include:

Supporting and guiding the children with homework and school assignments
Engaging younger children with reading, crafts, storytelling, and play-based learning
Providing structure, boundaries, and positive reinforcement
Preparing light dinners for the children and assisting with mealtime routines
Helping maintain order in the children's spaces, including tidying and encouraging good habits
Assisting with school pickups and drop-offs as required
Travelling with the family as needed
