The Family
A warm and international family relocating to Portugal is seeking two professional, nurturing, and proactive rotational nannies to join their household.
The family offers a welcoming, well-structured environment and values discretion, flexibility, and a positive, collaborative dynamic within the home. This is a fully staffed household, with additional support in place, and a strong emphasis on creating a calm and happy atmosphere for the children.
The Role
This is a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rota position, working in partnership with another nanny to ensure consistency and a smooth routine.
You will take full responsibility for the children during your rotation, supporting their daily routines, development, and well-being, while maintaining a structured, engaging, and nurturing environment.
The role involves international travel, requiring flexibility, organisation, and confidence in adapting to different environments.
Responsibilities
Deliver a high standard of attentive, nurturing childcare
Manage daily routines, including nursery/school schedules
Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities
Prepare meals for the children
Maintain children’s laundry and organisation
Support emotional and developmental milestones
Travel with the family and manage child-related logistics
Work collaboratively with parents and household staff
Maintain a calm, structured, and positive environment
Candidate Profile
European passport (essential)
Confident driver
Fluent English (additional languages advantageous)
Previous nanny experience (open to junior candidates with strong potential)
Flexible and willing to travel internationally
Professional, discreet, and well-organised
Preference will be given to candidates currently based in Portugal or Southern Europe.
