A warm, energetic, and well-organised family is seeking an exceptional full-time nanny to join their household. The eldest will be four in July 2026, his sister is two and the youngest will be one in October 2026. The ideal candidate is a positive, upbeat, high-calibre career nanny with extensive experience in early years development and confident communication skills.

The four-year-old will attend school full time. His two-year-old sister loves structured, activity-based days, outdoor time, creative play, and gentle boundaries. The family would love a nanny who can come up with creative activities, especially classes that the baby and toddler can enjoy together. You will have sole charge of the two year old and her baby sister in the mornings and all three children during afternoons and holidays.

The family is moving to the Welwyn area in Hertfordshire. This role can be live in or live-out. The role might start in London and then relocate to Hertfordshire. It’s an option to live in while they are in London and live out in Hertfordshire if you are currently Hertfordshire-based. They are also happy if you would like to live in permanently.

Schedule: Monday to Friday. In Hertfordshire, the schedule will be approximately 8 - 6 pm (50 hours). In London, the schedule is 07:00 – 19:00 (with a 5pm finish on Fridays). Occasional babysitting may also be required.

Start Date: Late Summer/early September (can consider sooner for the right nanny).

Commitment: Ideally, the family is seeking someone for a long-term position. If the placement is successful, they would like the nanny to stay until the youngest is five.

Passport and visa requirements: Candidates must have a UK passport or legal right to work in the UK to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities and duties:
Provide attentive, loving care for the children
Plan and engage in varied, age-appropriate activities
Maintain balanced routines and gentle structure
Prepare children’s meals
Transport children to and from school, playdates, and activities
Maintain a screen-free environment Monday to Friday
Encourage children to express their feelings, manage expectations, and communicate clearly about daily events
Take charge of all nursery duties, including tidying, laundry, and organisation
Support and help maintain an efficient, calm household environment.

Experience, qualifications, approach, and skills:
A minimum of five years of full-time nanny experience
Emotionally intelligent, patient, and nurturing
Confidence and experience managing three children under four
Positive, upbeat, and solution-oriented
Organised, tidy, and proactive
Focused on early childhood development
Enjoys outdoor activities in all weathers
Relevant training (e.g., Norland, Chiltern, Babington) is highly desirable but not required
Spanish-speaking is a bonus, but not essential.

Additional details:
Occasional travel with the family is appreciated but not required.
The family values well-being, manners, curiosity, and independence.
Pet-free home with a weekly cleaner.
Parents work from home 1–2 days per week; they have very busy jobs, so this is a sole-charge role.
The family is open to live-out candidates who live locally, ideally within less than a 30-minute commute (salary will be adjusted accordingly depending on location/live-in or live out.
In London school is currently a 30-minute walk each way (there is access to a cargo bike). You will need a driving licence when they relocate to the countryside

The family would like to secure the placement as soon as possible.
