Permanent Nanny Job - Near Blandford. DT11

A lovely family near Blandford seek a long term nanny to join their family.

Family has two girls aged 5 months and 2 1/2 years old.

Family offers permanent 30 hours per a week.

From May until September hours will be
2 long days Monday & Wednesday 7:45am until 5:45pm, plus 10 additional hours to be discussed and agreed. Probably Tuesday and Friday mornings.

From September hours will be
3 long days 7:45am until 5:45pm
Tuesday, Thursday and one additional day to be discussed and agreed

Family live on a farm so a nanny who is comfortable with animals and country life is essential.
You will have a love for the outdoors and feel confident engaging the children in fun outdoor activities within the farm and local area. Dog lover essential as children enjoy dog walks. Family also has horses, a pony, chickens and pigs.

Nursery duties required therefore a nanny who is confident with cooking children’s meals, children’s laundry and keeping children’s spaces clean and tidy is essential.

The right nanny will feel confident providing sole charge care but equally happy with parents and other farm staff being around and being part of the farm family.

You will hold previous childcare experience with under 5s, have a clear understanding of developmental milestones, be a car driver confident driving on country roads. Childcare qualifications preferred, checkable childcare references and clear DBS check essential. Previous nanny experience not essential.

The ideal candidate will be flexible on how hours are structured throughout the week and be able to adapt hours to family’s needs over time.
Family can also offer an additional 10 hours a week to provide full housekeeping duties and cleaning. Suitable if you have a passion for organising / deep cleaning and attention to detail. (Not essential for the nanny role)

Family ideally offers £13-£15 gross per an hour, however, would pay up to £17 gross per an hour for an experienced nanny.
Position to ideally start May with flexibility for later start if needed.

Family would also consider a September start for the right long term nanny.
