Full-Time Live-In Nanny/Housekeeper (French or English speaking) - separate living space - Knightsbridge, London SW7


- Start date: as soon as possible. The family is flexible on the start date for the right person.
- Location: Knightsbridge, London SW7
- Family of 3 : Parents, working full-time and a 10-month-old baby boy.
- The family is originally from the US but has now lived in London for 8 years.

* Accommodation provided: own separate living space,which has been recently renovated to a very high standard., via own private entrance from the street.
Double bedroom, private bathroom, and full kitchen.
The separate family kitchen, living spaces, and bedroom are on other floors.



* Working days and hours: Monday to Friday from 7am to 6pm

- approx. 27 hours/week of childcare:

. 7-9am: helping prepare the baby for the day while the parents get ready for work
4-6pm: playing with the baby and feeding him supper before the parents get home from work
Note: from 9am to 4pm, Monday to Thursday, the baby will be with his other nanny, who will train this individual on his routine and how to care for him
On Fridays, it will be childcare only for the whole day, no housekeeping.

- approx. 20 hours/week of cleaning and housekeeping

. Laundry + ironing for the family.
. Ensuring all common rooms, bedrooms, and bathrooms are tidy and clean
. Includes weekly or bi-weekly vacuuming, washing of floors, bleaching toilets, cleaning interior of windows, dusting, emptying trash, changing linens, etc.
. Ensuring food, store cupboards, and cleaning products are well stocked

- approx. 5 hours of cooking preparing dinner for the parents - Batch cooking health meals 2-3x / week


- and some hours of flex work, changing as needed (night-time or weekend babysitting at mutually agreed time, deep cleaning, etc.)

Requirements:

* Excellent level of English.
* Warm, calm personality, caring, responsible, trustworthy
* Experience caring for children / babies
* Housekeeping experience
* Attention to detail; neat; clean
* Discrete; knows how to “fade into the background” and work around the family
* Non-smoker

Nice-to-have (not mandatory):

* License to drive in the UK (the family would provide an automatic car)
* Willing to travel with the family 1-2x / year (travel and accommodation paid for)
