Job Summary
This is a flexible role suited to an experienced maternity nurse who can provide calm, knowledgeable support while working closely with a hands-on family. A welcoming family based in Maida Vale are seeking an experienced Maternity Nurse to support them with their 5-week-old baby.

These mums are looking for a professional who is inclusive, respectful and comfortable working within a modern family dynamic. One mum is currently exclusively breastfeeding, with the potential to introduce expressed milk over time, while the other will be returning to work shortly. The role offers flexibility, with the option of 24-hour cover or nightly support with extended mornings, depending on the candidate. Overnight, the maternity nurse will manage settling, soothing and nappy changes, bringing the baby for feeds during the night and resettling afterwards. The family would value support in maintaining breastfeeding, gently encouraging a day/night rhythm, and helping both parents feel more rested and confident as they navigate the early weeks.
