AH136: Full-time Nanny, Balham

Warm, capable and energetic full-time nanny needed for two sister families in Balham, London (homes three streets apart, walkable between both, no driving required). This long-term role begins as a nanny share for three children (two boys aged ~3–3.5, plus a baby joining 1 July) with a planned transition to sole charge for one family from September 2027.

- Start: Flexible from May–September 2026
- Hours: 55 hours/week (Mon–Thu 8am–7pm, Fri 8am–6pm)
- Rota: Two-week rotation between the two homes
- Nursery: Older children attend term-time nursery (3 full days to 3:15pm, 2 mornings)

This is a hands-on role for a nanny who can confidently run the day: smooth morning routines, nursery drop-offs and pick-ups, and happy, structured afternoons through to bedtime prep. You will plan stimulating, age-appropriate activities and local outings (especially during periods caring for one baby), and support clear boundaries with kind, consistent discipline.

You will be responsible for all childcare, including preparing healthy meals and snacks (including a dairy-free diet for one child) and keeping the children’s areas tidy and organised. No housekeeping beyond the children (cleaners employed).

Salary: circa £65,000 depending on experience. Travel not required unless the nanny is keen to travel with the families occasionally.
